Life Update: The busy, the growth, the chaos

It’s been a minute since I’ve written a blog — over two months, actually. Life’s been full of change lately, and I honestly just needed some time to get my life together and breathe for a second.
Here’s a recap of my last two months.
At the end of August, I made the decision to start looking for a new job. I was at a point where I needed a change — a new environment and a fresh start. By September 3rd, I had started at a new dealership, still working as a parts person. Then, on September 22nd, my fiancé and I moved into a new place closer to our jobs.
Our new home is a townhouse, and it honestly feels like such an upgrade. After almost three years of apartment living, we finally have more space, a yard for our dog, and a garage — all things we’ve been wanting for so long. Between starting the new job and getting settled into our home, it’s definitely taken me a bit to find my rhythm again.
On top of that, we’re still actively planning our wedding — which has been such an exciting (and slightly chaotic) chapter in itself. But the biggest update of all… I’m officially going back to school to become a personal trainer. 🎓
This decision has been one that was in the works for quite some time but while juggling a full time job I was trying to figure out the specifics of course starts dates, fees, and all of the above.
My original plan out of highschool was never to be a parts tech. That job came into the picture at a time I now relaize I needed most. Originally I was enrolled in school to do Osteotheraphy. Since my diagnosis helping people with Scoliosis was always something I was passionate about and wanted to do. When that plan got tossed out the window I was lost. I had no idea what I could possibly do that would fufill me in the way that I thought being and osteopath would.
Fitness has been such a huge part of my journey, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. It’s something that’s helped me rebuild confidence, strength, and balance through everything life’s thrown at me. Deciding to take the leap and turn that passion into a career feels like the most “me” thing I could’ve done.
Learning how to help people move their bodies, disability or not, is something that means so much to me. Movement has changed my life in more ways than I can count, and I want to help others feel that same kind of empowerment in their own bodies.
The last couple of months have been about growth, not the kind that happens overnight, but the kind that happens quietly in the background, while you’re figuring things out, building new routines, and learning to juggle change.
Now that things are starting to fall into place, I’m ready to start showing up here again sharing the journey, the messy in-betweens, and all the little wins along the way.
So here’s to new chapters, new beginnings, and finding my way back. 🌿
